About Sky Eye Clinic Seoul: our history and how we care for you
Sky Eye Clinic Seoul opened in 2007 as Gangnam Bright Eye Clinic and has kept adding equipment, specialists and centers since. This page explains how the clinic works, what you can expect from the team, and the milestones that shaped it. Consultation is free for overseas and domestic patients alike.

Who we are
Sky Eye Clinic Seoul is an eye clinic in Seocho-gu, Seoul, five minutes from Nonhyeon Station. It began in 2007 as Gangnam Bright Eye Clinic and was renamed Gangnam Sky Eye Clinic in 2008.
Ten ophthalmologists work here. Several had LASIK or LASEK themselves, so they can describe the procedures from a patient's side. You can read each doctor's training on the doctors page.
Interpreters on site speak English, Japanese and Chinese. Overseas and domestic patients pay the same fees, and your first consultation is free. Find the route on the directions page.
What the clinic focuses on
The clinic describes five commitments. Each one shapes what happens when you visit.
- Patient satisfaction care: the medical team builds on years of surgical experience and ongoing research.
- Equipment matched to your eyes: surgery is planned around your own eye condition. See the equipment list.
- Precision examination: a detailed exam program protects your eye health. Read the first visit guide for the full sequence.
- Team care: the same medical team supports you from examination and consultation through surgery and key post-operative checks.
- Social contribution: the clinic says it shares with neighbors in need.
Safety is part of the same picture. The complication prevention program explains daily equipment checks, and the surgeon name disclosure page explains who performs your surgery.
