Every vision correction option at Sky Eye Clinic

Sky Eye Clinic treats myopia, astigmatism, hyperopia and early presbyopia with laser surgery or an implanted lens. The right choice depends on corneal thickness, prescription and daily habits. Your surgeon checks these in a full examination before recommending anything.

How to choose between laser and lens surgery

Laser procedures reshape the cornea. A lens implant leaves the cornea untouched. That single difference drives most recommendations.

A decision made after the exam

No page can tell you which procedure suits you. Corneal thickness, pupil size and retinal condition are measured first, and the surgeon who examines you also follows your care after surgery.

Before you fly to Seoul

Plan your visit around the examination and the preparation rules. Contact lenses must come out for days or weeks before testing, depending on type. Our pre and post-op guide lists every step.

Questions answered

Which vision correction surgery is right for me?

It depends on your corneal thickness, prescription, pupil size and retinal condition. Your surgeon measures these in an examination, then explains which of LASIK, LASEK, New SMILE LASIK, Smart Nova LASIK or an ICL lens implant fits.

Can I have vision correction if my cornea is thin?

Often yes, but not with every method. LASEK and New SMILE LASIK keep more of the cornea, and an ICL lens implant removes no corneal tissue at all. Your exam decides.

Do I have to stop wearing contact lenses before the exam?

Yes. Soft lenses come out 5 days before, hard and toric lenses 10 days before, and ortho-k lenses at least 4 weeks before, so that measurements are accurate.

Is the consultation free for international patients?

Yes. Consultation is free, and overseas and domestic patients pay the same fees. Interpreters are available in English, Japanese and Chinese.
